The Robinson’s go to the Opera

October 19th, 2008  |  Published in Uncategorized

A few weeks ago, in our continuing quest to broaden our horizons, my husband I went to the opera. We saw La Traviata, part of the 2008/2009 IU Opera season. The performance was quite good–quality singing, beautiful music, sumptuous sets and costumes. And as it turns out, La Traviata is the opera in Pretty Women, so we had actually heard some of it before too. It was a very traditional opera, lots of drama and tragedy, which was a bit much for us. We’re more of modern opera people.

La Traviata Robinson Rating: 3 stars
