A Year of My Life in Pictures

Last year I started a project called “Daily Picture of Happiness”. The goal being to take a picture of each day of something that made me happy. It didn’t have to be a great photo, lord knows there are some bad photos in there, but it did need to be a photo of something that sincerely made me happy. All in all I had fun with it and gained a new perspective on the important things in life. Toward the end of the year I lost my follow through, so I don’t have exactly 366 (leap year), but I came pretty close with 336.
To give you a quick snapshot of what made me happy last year, here are the top 5 subjects and how many photos I had for each one.
1) 43 photos of food
2) 37 photos of my cat, 3 photos of my parent’s cats
3) 34 photos of friends and family
4) 19 photos of my husband
5) 7 photos of beer
